Limit Fire – The Yohji Yamamoto Legacy
Daughter of Yohji Yamamoto, Limi Yamamoto launched her brand Limi Feu in 2000, continuing her father's style but with her own distinct identity. Her designs are characterized by loose-fitting, often black, silhouettes that play on volume and layering.
Limi Feu embodies a more accessible Japanese avant-garde, while retaining the refinement and aesthetic power inherited from Yohji. His clothes reflect a feminine vision of radical minimalism, with a modern twist.
Present at Paris Fashion Week, Limi Feu enjoys international recognition. Its Made in Japan pieces are sought after on the secondhand archive market, particularly its collections from the 2000s, which have become cult classics for fans of contemporary Japanese fashion.
